Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Document Management.
- Proven experience working with government projects and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with industry-standard document management tools and systems.
- Proficient in electronic document management systems.
- Experience in organizing, categorizing, and maintaining electronic documents.
- Knowledge of best practices in electronic document control.
- In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance, including but not limited to HIPAA, SOX, PII, PCI, PHI, GDPR, CCPA, etc.
- Proven track record of ensuring adherence to regulatory standards in document management.
- Ability to implement and monitor compliance processes related to document management.
- Expertise in record retention policies.
- Knowledge of document destruction policies and procedures.
- Proactive approach to ensuring compliance with record retention regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for document management processes.
- Analyze existing document management systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Design, develop, and implement document management solutions that meet business needs and compliance requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of document management systems and processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users on document management best practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in document management and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with government agencies to understand their specific document management needs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, to integrate document management solutions with other business systems.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive documentation for all aspects of document management processes.
Pay:
- Range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
